Ultra Violet Printing
UV Printing is virtually the same as that of Litho Printing except that it uses a special UV curing ink which instantly cures when it passes through the UV light.
Benefits of this form of Printing: Able to print on surfaces that conventional Litho is unable. It is generally used for Metallic paper surfaces and also Plastic surfaces. In additional to this because it runs through a UV light, there are numerous special ink that can be used which will react leaving unique patterns. An example of this would be snowflake effects.
Disadvantages: The cost of this form of printing is more expensive than Offset printing, as the ink use are generally greater in costs.
