Lithographic Printing / Offset Printing

This is to provide a brief understanding into the few different types of Printing available to us.

Litho printing is generally used for mass produced printing. This is done by placing the desired content onto a printing plate and covering the plate with ink. This ink on the printing plate is then transferred to a rubber blanket which is then transferred onto the paper.​

Benefits of this form of Printing: This form of printing is most commonly used as it is probably the most cost effective for mass produce printing. In addition to this, it is also very efficient and effective way of printing solid colours

Disadvantages: Is not cost effective on very small runs as it takes more time to set up.
